Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf - Sony Nomination

George Weaver a young student from the PNSA school at Thornton-Cleveleys has benefited from the tution he has received to land a role in the well-renowed comedy "Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf".
Written by comedian Toby Hadoke, this hilarious show charts the Doctor's triumphs and disasters, and Hadoke's progress from child to man through obsession, joy and disappointment. Presented as an autobiography of his formative years, the play provides an insight into how Toby coped with growing up, being bullied and never getting the girl, all whilst being a huge Dr. Who fan.
Playing as a national tour of venues in 2008, "Moth's Ate My Doctor Who Scarf" has been recorded for radio and broadcast on BBC 7, starring our very own student George Weaver, and has now been nominated for Best Drama in the prestigious Sony Radio Academy Awards.
