PAUL NICHOLAS SCHOOL OF ACTING DRAMA SCHOOL FRANCHISE FOR SALE IN SOUTH BIRMINGHAM!

The Paul Nicholas School of Acting South Birmingham is an established children's acting school in the Northfield area of South Birmingham.

I bought the franchise myself in 2008 and set it up from scratch. In the two years the school has been established we have had consistent profits, good turnover and gained an excellent reputation within the local community.

Currently we have three classes a week for three different age groups, and fees are £4 an hour (our older classes run for 2 hrs each). This makes us one of the cheapest drama schools in Birmingham!

We are owned by the star of stage and screen Paul Nicholas and managed by head office in Blackpool, who are always on hand to provide advice and give new ideas. As part of the franchise agreement they are entitled to 12.5% of fees - as standard with all franchises. This covers the use of the school name and logos etc and the ongoing help and support they provide. The school also has a casting agency attatched to it run by head office who inform us of upcoming auditions etc. A real draw for parents!!

I am selling as I have recently been offered work abroad and have been unable to accept due to my commitments with the school. My current contract runs out in August, and I have applied for work abroad in September, so feel now is the right time to move on.

In addition to the class fees, the franchisee can conduct workshops in the school holidays and I have managed to get good contacts with local schools in order to go in and conduct school workshops to spread the school name around.

I only have three classes a week but the new franchisee could have as many as they like in all disciplines - acting, dance, musical theatre etc. You are free to expand as you wish.

A current franchise with PNSA is £9,000 for an unestablished school.

As mine is established with consistant profit and good will in the area I am asking for £15,000.

I am open to offers, especially for a quick sale.

Last years accounts are of course available on request.

The price includes, current classes i.e students and venue access, merchandise to sell such as t-shirts and baseball caps etc, a full advertising and stationery start up pack, full training in accounts and teaching techniques with head office and on going support from head office. Props and scripts I have rights to may be negotiated on request. I will also include some teaching resources.

The school is ideal as an additional income as it only takes a few hours a week of paperwork and teaching (currently the classes total 5 hrs). I have managed to survive on it as a main income, as I have an auto immune disease and have not been able to hold down a full time job.

If you would like to know more I would be happy to send you a franchise information pack - please email me at birminghamsouth@pnsa.co.uk
